Hello everyone! Thank you so much to each of you who prayed, donated, and supported us on this trip. It was absolutely incredible to see God working in Puerto Lempira! Here are some pictures from the trip.

David was able to email us in Auburn this morning. He said the weather isn't too bad. It's hot with a little breeze and no rain yet.
The team projects with Root Ministries for the week include building a chicken coop, fixing the door on a cooking shed, and two days of serving in the feeding program. Each day they play with the children and help care for infants.
The staff of House of Hope, where they are staying, is very kind.
The team had a chance to swim in a lake and have fresh coconuts and sugar cane. All are well and there is no sunburn yet!
Monday night David Goolsby had a chance to email the office and update us briefly. He said they were settling in at the guest house at Send Hope! Everyone is doing well. Temperature is warm, but not terrible.

The team left early (like 5AM early!) this morning for ATL, then flew to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. We found out today that there will not be wifi in Puerto Lempira, so I will share their updates from Auburn whenever I get information.

Welcome to the Honduras mission team blog! This blog will be used to give updates on the team while we are in country. We are so excited to be serving in Puerto Lempira, Honduras from May 8-17, 2016. We will be working alongside Morgan Hayden and Root Ministries as well as House of Hope, run by Dr. Tom Brian. Please keep the team in your prayers as we prepare for a great 9 days in Honduras!
